Job description
Protocol Education is working with a number of primary schools across Cheadle, Hazel Grove and Marple who are seeking Teaching Assistants to work on both a short or long term basis. You will be working closely with class teachers to support learning, helping to deliver the curriculum for individuals and in small groups across all Key Stages. You will need to be able to work flexibly across year groups in different subjects including Maths and English and also support children with special educational needs including Autism and challenging behaviour.

The successful candidate will be able to inspire and motivate pupils and have high expectations for the children in their care.

Candidates should:
• have good communication, literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE's or equivalent)
• ideally have experience of working with children with special educational needs
• be able to work as a member of a team
• liaise with the teachers, other support staff and other professionals
• place the children at the centre of all decisions
