Job description
Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants in Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Sandwell. £55 per day
Are you a teaching assistant that is looking for a job working with pupils that have special education needs?
Protocol Education regularly has jobs for teaching assistants that can work with EBD, MLD, SLD and PMLD pupils.
These jobs require you to have significant experience of working with both Primary and Secondary aged School aged pupils that have social, emotional and behavioural difficulties; learning difficulties of varying degrees; and other disabilities that may hinder the pupils from being in mainstream education.
In these jobs it is essential you are able to deal with challenging situations in the classroom and can apply your teaching skills effectively. If you are working with PMLD pupils you may be required to provide personal support to pupils in a way that maintains their dignity.
