Job description
IS IT TIME FOR A NEW CAREER DIRECTION???

Protocol Education are always seeking to work with talented and passionate Learning Support Assistants within Special educational needs who are looking to take that change of direction into a school setting.

I am the Senior SEN Consultant for Herts/Beds/Bucks and I work with some amazing SEN schools who need people just like you:

• Dedicated
• Experienced with Special Needs, whether it be adults or young people
• Want to make a difference
• Hard-working and reliable
• Able to maintain a professional outlook even when things get tough
• Always looking to grow themselves to become the best they can be to help support the children

All the above attributes create a positive environment within the classroom.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Taking instruction from the class teacher
• Working on a 1:1 basis with children who have ASD / ADHD / SEMH / MLD / Challenging Behaviour and other associated needs
• Assisting with learning and social skills
• Personal care experience is ideal but not essential
• Carrying out interactive activities to help build their knowledge
• Assisting with de-escalation or intervention
