Protocol Education are currently looking for Learning Support Assistant to develop children with complex needs to develop skills for the challenges that they will face in society. These could be academically, socially or physically.

This role would be ideal for someone who is looking to make a move from social care into an educational environment. The school is in Southwark located within a 5-minute walk from Oval Station which is served by the Northern Line. To be successful in this role you must be very proactive and confident working with individuals with complex needs.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that students engage with the lessons, providing academic support and working under the instruction of the class teacher.
• Managing pupil's behaviour.
• Helping the students with their life skills.


Experience working within a complex needs school is preferred but candidates with a genuine desire to work within the special needs sector, the ability to be able to build relationships with the pupils and those who have a genuine passion for teaching are encouraged to apply for this role.
