Job description
Somerset Food Technology Specialist required for Maternity Cover starting 1st September

An Ofsted rated 'Good' secondary school in Somerset are currently looking for a passionate Design and Technology Teacher, with a Food Technology specialism!

The School is located in Somerset and is easily accessible; 45 minutes from Bristol, 30 minutes from Weston-Super-Mare and easy to get to by local bus routes.

The ideal candidate should be able to teach Design Technology to KS3- KS4 and should be able to teach Food Technology up to A-Level. Additionally, they should be passionate about their subject and driven to get expected grade results!

The role starts on 1st September 2016 and may potentially be for up to a full Academic year.

You must be a fully qualified teacher, be able to offer 2 references and have a DBS registered on the update service or be willing to complete one.

To be successful for this role you must have:

•QTS and eligibility to work within the UK.

•Extensive subject knowledge.

•Strong interpersonal skills.

•Sound behaviour management.

•Fulfilling PPA requirements.
