Job description

A lovely Special Needs School located in the SY4 Area is currently looking for a full time teacher to teach ICT and Maths students in year 7-11. You will be working with individuals who have SEMH (social, emotional and mental health) difficulties. Experience of teaching in a Special Needs setting is an advantage but not essential. This role is prefect for a confident teacher who loves a challenge.

The successful candidate will work within the school to maintain a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment. The school treats all children as individuals without judgement or comparison. You will need to interact and support children in a positive way to foster their enthusiasm for learning. The aim of the school is to provide a broad and balanced curriculum that enables each child to achieve their full potential in a happy and caring environment. This school aims to discover the best in every child and challenge them to go beyond their expectations.
