Teaching Support jobs in Southwark


START DATE FOR SEPTEMBER 2018/19

Are you ready to start a job that is rewarding and career enhancing?

Do you have experience with SEND? We are working with a school based in Southwark, London and they are looking for support Learning Assistants who are passionate about improving the lives of young people with profound and multiple learning difficulties. Commitment and an eagerness to work within the education sector is desirable.

We offer excellent rates of pay and hours of work between 8.30 - 3.30!

If you have experience or an excellent understanding in any of the following areas, then we need to hear from you have experience of working Children in any capacity and candidates with previous Care experience are particularly welcome

To apply for this position, you would ideally have the following;

  • Excellent communication skills, strong and effective behaviour management
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Be able to inspire students to be active in learning

We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00
