We’re looking for a Youth Worker to support children in SEMH schools, with a strong focus on behaviour support, emotional regulation and engagement in learning.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who can stay calm under pressure, build trust quickly, and help young people re-engage with education in a positive way.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with children or young people (youth work, PRU, care, coaching, etc.)
  • Confidence supporting behaviourally challenged pupils in SEND settings
  • Calm, resilient and proactive approach
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and positively influence behaviour

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and additional needs
  • Helping pupils regulate emotions and stay engaged in learning
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with young people
  • Providing consistent, calm support throughout the school day

Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to implement strategies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
