Job description
An Outstanding' school in the West London borough of Hillingdon are seeking to appoint a number of SEND teaching assistants to work with children who have Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in their Reception Classes.

The school benefits from a friendly and supportive environment, cultivated by a forward thinking senior leadership team and a warm and welcoming team of staff in all areas.

In this role you will be working as part of a team, both within early years but also as part of the SEND team within the school.
We are looking for someone who is willing to go the extra mile for the students they support, you will need to have a pro-active and have a can do attitude. As part of the role you will be expected to take a lead on supporting students with activities and interventions in areas such as maths, phonics and literacy so it is essential that you are confident in this area, either from a strong education background or experience working in a similar setting. You will have experience of working with children who have ASD as you will need to bring the knowledge and effective strategies to support these students.
