About the school
My client Secondary school is looking for teaching assistants to work in their mainstream site and their SEN Provision, with students aged between 11-19.
Based in LS15, the school believes in equal opportunities for all and needs motivated staff that can uphold their values.
The ideal candidates must demonstrate patience, resilience and empathy as you will be working with a range of students from all backgrounds and abilities.
Teaching assistants that have experience with SEND students may be given the opportunity to work within the SEN Provision, assisting students with additional needs such as Autism.
Working in a classroom environment, as well as one to one with individual students. The role would start in September 2022, with the potential to go permanent for the right candidates.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
