Protocol Education are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a primary school in a village just north of Doncaster. This role is likely to run for at least a year with a significant chance of becoming permanent.

The school:
A medium sized, 2 form primary school rated as GOOD by OFSTED. The school is well led and well run with many of the Teachers and Teaching Assistants that we have placed there over the years saying what a great school it is to work at.


The Role:
You will be working 1:1 with a Year 4 pupil whose learning needs are those of a Foundation Stage pupil. Whilst friendly, she has very high energy levels and a key challenge is that of keeping her engaged and in the classroom in order to facilitate her learning.

To be considered for the position of Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will have:
·HLTA status or equivalent
·Solid experience working as an HTLA in a classroom setting.
·The confidence to work with a class in the absence of the teacher.
·Experience teaching in primary education (across either EYFS, KS1 or KS2).
·A desire to join a committed team of Primary School Teachers

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
