SEND Teaching Assistant (TA)

Role: TA

Hours 09:00 – 16:00, Monday – Friday

Protocol Education are currenting working with a fantastic school in Aylesbury who is looking for Teaching Assistants (TA) to progress their career and to support KS1 and KS2 pupils with challenging needs.

A successful applicant will be working with a variety of pupils that have ASD (Autism spectrum disorder), PMLD (Profound and multiple learner disorder), SLD (Severe learning difficulties) and MLD (Moderate learning difficulties.

Key skills/Qualities:

  • Ability to work well in a team as well as using their own initiative.
  • Behaviour management.
  • Ensuring safeguarding and that the school’s ethos and policies are implemented.
  • Patient and inspiring towards the needs of vulnerable people.
  • Desired but need essential: Previous experience working with PMLD, ASD, SLD and MLD.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
