Protocol Education (East Midlands Office) are seeking a qualified and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work with a leading school in a multi-school teaching alliance located in the South Nottingham area.

This role is best suited to a hardworking, enthusiastic and empathetic individual with a calm and caring approach to supporting young people within their educational needs. This role involves working with a variety of different special needs and disabilities including ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties)and SEMH (Social Emotional and Mental Health).

The role is to start after May Half Term (07/05/2021) and is a temporary position with long term potential for the right candidate.
The role involves working with both small groups and 1:1 for SEND pupils across a variety of Key Stages (3 - 5). It is a great opportunity for the right individual looking to work within a special needs and disabilities environment and help learners mental, physical and academic development.

To be a successful candidate, you will need to:
• Have or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference check.
• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK
