Job description
Do you have experience working with children with special educational needs? Whether this experience is in the mainstream classroom, special school or another setting, Protocol Education love to hear from you.

A primary school in Redcar & Cleveland requires an experienced SEND teaching assistant to work with children with varying needs on an ongoing basis. Ideally you will have previously supported children with needs such autism, global delay and speech & language difficulties. You should also have experience of working within a primary setting and a teaching assistant qualification. You should also be comfortable with personal care roles (feeding and changing).

The successful candidate will be positive, calm and understanding. You may be working with a specific child on a 1:1 basis or potentially a small group of pupils. You will be organised, pro-active and able to use your own initiative. This can be a challenging role at times, but it is also extremely rewarding.

The benefits of working with Protocol Education are:

• Commitment to quality and safeguarding
• Competitive rates of pay
• Daily, short-term and long-term vacancies to suit your needs
• An extensive CPD training programme
• Weekly pay (through PAYE so no hidden umbrella costs)
• Dedicated and education specialist consultants on hand every day
• A bonus scheme for referring friends and colleagues.

For the right candidates, these positions often lead to full time employment.

Please send me your CV if this role is of interest to you.

All candidates will be subject to Protocol Education's child safety standards and background checks.
