Job description
We are urgently recruiting for an outstanding, dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant with recent classroom experience, for a full-time position. This position is for a primary school based in the Charnwood borough. The school is easily accessible on public transport.

This role will be working full time providing support to children with additional needs in KS1 and KS2. To be considered for this role you must have previous SEND experience in either a school or care work capacity. The school aims to provide the highest standards of teaching and learning so that all children can achieve their academic potential. As a school they ensure that they foster and develop the social and emotional well-being of their children as well as concentrating on developing the potential of their staff.

We are seeking applicants who have the appropriate personal characteristics, experience, knowledge and skills in order that they can provide flexible and effective support within a SEND Teaching Assistant role. Qualifications are encouraged but not required to be considered.

Candidates should ideally:
• Have previous SEND experience working with children
• Have a good sense of humour
• Be flexible
• Have excellent attendance and punctuality record
