Job description
SEND Teaching Assistant


Protocol Education is currently seeking special needs teaching assistants to work in a special needs school in West London. If you have experience working with young people, enjoy a challenge and looking for variety on a day to day basis then this role could be for you.

If you are a recent graduate, teaching assistant, an ex teacher or someone looking for a new career in support work apply today.

There are 90 plus students on roll, all on the autistic spectrum with differing severity and support requirements.

The role will provide you with great opportunities to gain excellent experience and qualifications such as studio 3, a 3 day course on managing behaviour in autism.

The school is located in rural Ealing and has easily accessible transport links.

We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00
