Protocol Education are currently looking for a qualified, passionate, and enthusiastic, Teaching Assistant (TA / LSA) who has experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to start ASAP to work within a SEND School.

 

The successful SEND TA / SEND LSA will need to be able to support pupils that may have challenging behaviour, specific learning difficulties or EHCP's. With support from other members of staff, activities will be set by the teacher, and you will support pupils with their progress and attainment.

 

Experience supporting some of the following would be advantageous:

• ADHD

• Asperger Syndrome

• Autism (ASD)

• Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD, formerly EBD)

• Challenging Behaviour

• Dyslexia

• Epilepsy

• Global Development Delay (GDD)

• Hearing Impairment (HI)

• Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)

• Multi-Sensory Impairment (MSI)

• Non-Verbal Learning Difficulties (NLD)

• Speech and Language Disorder

• Severe learning difficulties (SLD)

• Profound and multiple learningdifficulties (PMLD)

• Visual Impairment (VI).

 

This is a temporary to permanent role, based on performance with great rates of pay, progression but most of all the right support for you to do the best job possible. They are very pupil focused, so are looking for the right member of support to join their 'family feel' school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
