Job description
SEND Teaching Assistant Camden

We are looking for a highly experienced SEND teaching assistant to work within our school in Islington. You MUST have a range of experience working with SEND and experience with early years education. You will also need to have worked with children on a 1:1 basis.

Desirable experience:
• Autism
• Challenging behaviour
• Multiple Learning disabilities
• Severe Learning disabilities
• PMLD
• ADHD
• EAL

We will require you to have some experience in at least one of the SEN listed above for you to apply. You will also need to be flexible, proactive and passionate in this field.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
