Job description
Do you have a passion for supporting children with SEND? Are you keen to develop you skills further in a SEND environment?

I am looking for experienced teaching assistants with or without special educational needs and disorders experience. You may be a graduate who is looking to get into teaching in the future who needs experience in a school setting. You may be an already experienced teaching assistant from a mainstream school who is looking to move into special needs. All applicants welcome with a positive attitude to working with children and a proactive , friendly approach.

Successful candidates will be required to both work one to one and/or lead a group of children with various special needs including ASD, MLD, SLD, PMLD and speech and language difficulties.

As a specialist LSA successful candidates will need the following skills and qualifications:
• Experience working with children in a classroom or non-classroom setting
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to use initiative and work well under pressure.
• Be able to differentiate work to support needs of children
