We are currently working with a school looking for Teaching Assistants with extensive experience of managing and supporting behavioural difficulties.

The position will be to support the class teacher during lessons to manage behaviour. This will mean you will be working on both a 1:1 basis with key pupils and as a general class Teaching Assistant.

The school caters for mainstream pupils but they have a large percentage of SEN pupils with Autism, social, emotional and behavioural difficulties and Speech & Language difficulties.

The ideal candidate will be:

- Able to work well within a team.
- Passionate and interested with working with children for SEND.
- Patient and Understanding approach
- Available to start as soon as possible.
- Teaching Assistant experience

Role description:

- Providing 1:1 support.
- Creating imaginative activities for pupils.
- Support to ensure working towards therapy targets.
- Full Time, Monday to Friday.
- Support the class teacher.
