We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to join a team supporting children with specialist SEND provision in a Mainstream Primary School as a SEND Specialist Learning Support Assistant (LSA).
Their LSA team is made up of classroom LSAs who support classes in learning and SEND LSAs who support particular children with their needs; both under the supervision and support of the SEND Co-ordinator.
The candidate we are looking for would have experience being in a school and supporting pupils in similar situations.
Key aspects we looking for:
- Open and inquisitive to learn new skills in SEND education;
- Have a patient and understanding manner;
- Be able to communicate well - with fellow professionals, teachers, children and parents; and
- Have GCSE Grade C or above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).

- Monday - Friday
- Term time only
- Southend-On-Sea location
- 2 form primary school
