Full time role


£70-£80 per day

Protocol Education are looking to recruit SEND Teaching Assistants in the Nottingham area, on a full time, permanent basis. Experience is preferred but NOT required.

The right candidate will have a friendly and positive approach to teaching, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children. Being able to work in a team of other professionals is also an integral part of this role.

You will need to be confident with de-escalation strategies, tough and know how to handle challenging behaviours.

You must also be empathetic and understanding that a lot of the people you will be working with could have severe or complex special needs.

Additionally, to classroom work, other responsibilities may include:

v  Support in immersion rooms

v  Support in sensory rooms

v  Outdoor activities

v  Teaching life and other vocational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
