Protocol Education are currently looking for teaching assistants within special needs experience to work work in an outstanding secondary school to start in September 2022. As this is a special needs school you will be working with students with special needs that include autism, speech & language difficulties and sensory overload. Your role as a teaching assistant will be to focus on the development of education and learning within a range of different lessons that include maths English, science and creative lessons such as Art, music and P.E. You will also be required to support the class teacher, working one to one with students and breaking down the work in a way students can access. Class sizes are reduced and range from 8 - 10 students per class enabling you to provide a more focus level of learning.
This role is a year long role (term time only) with the option of going permanent.
- Monday to Friday
- Working in small classes ranging from 8 - 10 students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
