SEN Teaching Assistant

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate would have experience working in a Special Needs school. However, experience does not necessarily have to come from within a school setting – Other settings that cater to special needs - such as care homes or residential homes - would also be acceptable.

This role would suit someone who is not afraid to be hands on and get stuck in. You need to be compassionate, caring and committed to making a positive change to young people’s lives.

This role involves working across a variety of different classes, so you need to be able to easily adapt and work with children of different levels/ needs. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly rewarding role, within an established setting.

A new, enhanced DBS will be required for this role, or an existing subscription to the DBS update service. If this is something you do not currently have, I am happy to assist you with the process of acquiring a DBS.

What kind of school will I be working in?

A school in Wolverhampton are currently looking for a full-time or part-time SEN teaching assistant. The school aims to provide a secure environment where all the children's individual needs are recognised and catered for. The school places a special emphasis on individual progression of each child and offer a wide range of varied learning opportunities. This is an ongoing, long-term post with the possibility of a permanent job for the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
