SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Sheffield, Barnsley & Rotherham
Pay: £92.63 per day, paid weekly through PAYE
Contract: Full-time and part-time opportunities available
Start Date: Immediate and September starts available

Protocol Education is looking for caring, resilient and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to support children and young people with additional needs across Sheffield, Barnsley and Rotherham. Whether you've worked in schools, care, youth work or another support role, your experience could be exactly what our schools are looking for.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting pupils with a range of SEND, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties
• Working one-to-one and with small groups to help pupils access learning
• Encouraging confidence, independence and positive relationships
• Creating a safe, calm and engaging learning environment
• Working alongside teachers and SEND professionals to help every child thrive

• A patient, positive and adaptable approach
• Great communication skills
