We're looking for caring, patient and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to join welcoming schools across Bath and North East Somerset. Whether you've worked in education, care, youth work or support services, your experience could make a real difference to pupils with additional needs.

Every day is different. One moment you might be celebrating a child's first breakthrough in reading, the next you're helping them build confidence, independence and a love of learning. It's challenging, rewarding and genuinely life-changing.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs
• Working one-to-one and in small groups to help pupils access learning
• Building positive relationships that help children feel safe, supported and ready to learn
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and therapists to deliver personalised support
• Encouraging independence, confidence and positive behaviour throughout the school day

We're looking for someone who

• Has experience working with children or young people, or transferable experience from care, youth work or support roles
• Is calm, compassionate and adaptable
• Builds positive relationships with ease
• Has a genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
• Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or is happy to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
