Job description
We are currently searching for exceptional, creative and passionate SEN teachers and assistants for several placements we have in Sheffield, Doncaster, Barnsley, Rotherham and surrounding areas.

Quality is at the heart of everything we do at Protocol, and we strive to place our teachers and teaching assistants in specialist SEN roles that suit both you, and the school you will be placed in.

This purpose of your role:
-To teach and support pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties in a dispersed alternative academy, Key Stage 3, 4 & 5 setting.
- To teach and support a range of subject areas as required enabling pupils to achieve accredited outcomes.
-To effectively and positively support any students under your care, adhering to all safeguarding regulations and school policies.
-To help to create a positive and safe learning environment for all students in the classroom.

A subject specialism is not the priority here but versatility, enthusiasm, resilience, unconditional positive regard for the young people and teaching expertise is. Specialist support and training will be provided for any teacher who wishes to move from a mainstream setting.

If you have a passion for SEN education, and think you would be a positive influence in a SEN students life and classroom, then please contact Hannah at Protocol Education on 0114 252 1970, for an informal chat about your options and whether we have the position you have been searching for.
