We are looking for a Primary ASC Learning Support Specialist to fit into a lovely caring team in an autistic school in the Redbridge area. The school is catering for different Sensory and ASC needs across students aged between 3-11. Candidates who apply must be confident, collaborative and have a passion for supporting children in a patient and calming manner.

The forever expanding school has a wide range of facilities to support children in there developing journey including a huge soft playroom, a tech room, a nice large playground with lots of different sensory triggers and a food technology room. Children are encouraged to work in many ways to stimulate them to best support them on their academic journey. The school encourage staff and students to work in a fun and energetic manner to try and get the best out of the students in the school.  

You will be able to possess the following skills and support the following:

-        Establish a routing with students

-        Consider their learning environment

-        Manage changes and transitions

-        Communicate clearly

-        Integrate their interests

-        Work with their parents/carers

-        Build your resilience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
