Job description
Protocol Education are looking for Teachers with SEND experience or have a keen interest working with students with special needs to work in our special needs schools in the boroughs of South West London.

As a SEND teacher you will have the opportunity to work in a rewarding & an outstanding school with students with a range of special needs such as profound multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and speech and language difficulties. Y

Responsibilies of the role:
You will be required to lead, deliver and co-ordinate lessons and curriculum to students that have ASD, PMLD, significant communication difficulties or developmental delay. Due to the level of SEND, candidates will need to be committed to ensuring pupils make good progress and encourage pupils to reach their potential through engaging and stimulating teaching.

Successful candidates will need the following skills and qualifications:
• QTS teaching or a UK recognised teaching qualification teaching at a secondary level.
• To be able to differentiate work to students depending on their needs.
• Positions are subject to an enhance disclosure barred service.
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to use initiative and works well under pressure.
• Have recent experience teaching SEN students.
• Trained in TEACCH, Team Teach/MAPA
• PECs and Makaton experience
