Protocol Education - SEND are seeking experienced primary or secondary Teachers looking for a new role helping advance less able pupils with ASD, PMLD. You will simply need to have a good understanding of the curriculum and be able to implement focus as well as having compassion and patience to be able to adapt to cater for a variety of learning needs. The pupils have a mixture of learning needs, for example; Nonverbal, physical disabilities, speech and language difficulties and/or autism (Low to Mild)


The School / Role


The school caters for pupils aged between 2-19 with a mixture of learning difficulties, primarily ASD. They are on the look out for experienced teachers who have a creative teaching approach and ability to teach small groups of pupils.

There are support specialists assigned to each pupil to encourage continuous development and academic progression.

You will be required to plan and deliver lessons as well as keeping personal progression and development plans for each of the students to make sure all their personal needs are met. The successful candidate will be resilient, patient and have a careering nature as well as being able to overcome the daily challenges that arise while working in the SEN provisions of Education.
