We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed SEND Teacher to join a well-established and inclusive school in the Croydon region. This is a full-time opportunity for a skilled SEND practitioner or a teacher eager to develop further expertise in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
The successful candidate will support pupils with a variety of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and moderate learning needs. You will deliver personalised, engaging lessons designed to support both academic progress and social-emotional development.
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to EHCP outcomes
Establish a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
Work collaboratively with the SENCO, support staff, therapists, and external agencies
Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress
Implement individual education and behaviour support plans
Develop strong partnerships with parents and carers
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working with pupils with SEND
Knowledge of EHCP processes and inclusive teaching strategies
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A patient, adaptable, and resilient approach
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
A diverse and welcoming school community
Ongoing CPD and specialist SEND training
Supportive senior leadership and collaborative staff team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
