Are you a passionate SEND Teacher looking to make a real difference?

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEND Specialist Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school where every child is supported to achieve their full potential.

Guided by the school's vision, "Learning for Life," you'll help pupils aged 3–19 with complex learning difficulties, Autism, ADHD, PMLD, and additional SEND needs thrive in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. Every lesson is tailored to individual strengths, interests, and learning styles, ensuring each pupil is celebrated for every step of progress.

The Role

As a SEND Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and highly differentiated lessons.
  • Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, PMLD, and complex learning needs.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom where pupils feel safe, valued, and confident.
  • Work collaboratively with experienced teachers, therapists, support staff, and families.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Encourage independence, communication, social development, and lifelong learning.
  • Celebrate every achievement and help pupils reach meaningful personal goals.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching pupils with SEND, SEN, Autism, PMLD, SEMH, or complex needs.
  • Is confident differentiating learning to meet a wide range of abilities.
  • Is patient, resilient, and committed to providing outstanding inclusive education.
  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
