We are currently recruiting for an outstanding special needs primary school located in the heart of Shropshire to start immediately or in January 2022. This state of the art school caters for primary students with special needs that include mild autism, severe learning disabilities, speech and language difficulties and physical disabilities. As a teaching assistant you will be working as part of a team in a class catering to 6 - 8 students where you will be supporting students on a one to one basis with their learning & development and also supporting students in lessons such as music & art. This particular school are looking for staff that are committed and can train throughout the role.

The role:

• Working full time 8:30 - 15:30
• Supporting Students on a one to one basis
• Working together as a part of a team
• Developing speech & language and social development
• Supporting in lessons such as art, music and P.E.
• Assisting with sensory integration

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
