Job description
SEND Teaching Assistant to work within a Special schools in Manchester
Short-term/ Long-term to Permanent roles
Manchester

Are you an empathetic, conscientious and patient individual looking for a new challenge? Do you have recent experience working with pupils from KS1 to KS4? If you are a learning mentor, support worker or teaching assistant with experience working with pupils with learning or communication difficulties and/or EAL then we would like to hear from you.

Protocol Education SEND team are currently recruiting for Learning support Assistants to work within a nurturing SEND, PRU based in around Manchester. The specialist provision is set to support pupils who have English as a second or additional language and awaiting placements to enter mainstream schools. The role will require you to work alongside KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4 supporting teaching and learning and help the pupils to overcome barriers to learning by providing additional support.

We are looking for people who are consistent, hardworking and can build excellent relationships with young people to help with their development of their English and communication.

We can offer our staff the opportunity to gain a further understanding of working in the SEND sector as we provide regular courses that prepare you for working with a variety of additional needs that will be certified upon completion.
