Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference?

We are working with a welcoming primary school in Hayes that is seeking a compassionate, resilient and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join its specialist SEND provision supporting pupils with high and complex needs.

The Role

You will be working within a specialist SEND unit, providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including:

• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• ADHD
• Non-verbal communication
• Complex learning needs
• Challenging behaviour

This is a highly rewarding role where you'll play a vital part in helping children thrive in a safe, structured and nurturing environment.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has:

✅ Experience working in a SEND school, Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) or specialist SEND unit

OR

✅ Personal experience supporting an individual with complex SEND needs

You should also have:

• Confidence supporting non-verbal pupils
• Experience managing challenging behaviour positively
• A calm, patient and resilient approach
• A genuine passion for helping children with additional needs succeed

Please note: This is a specialist SEND role and is not suitable for candidates without experience of supporting pupils with complex SEND needs.

Location: Hayes
️ Start: Immediate (following a successful trial)
⏰ Hours: 8:15am – 3:15pm
Pay: £95–£105 per day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
