Protocol Education are working with a school in the LE67 area looking for experienced teaching assistants to work at their primary school site supporting students with ASC and complex needs. This school places people in half term blocks. Ideally, you will work for 6 weeks and if then suited, it will be extended and potentially leading to full-time. This school is looking for full-time staff but part-time is okay as well if you can provide consistency.


• Encourage students to use their imagination and tailor learning to their interests
• Ensure students are communicating their knowledge and understanding in a constructive manner
• Support students in problem solving
• Build rapport both students and other staff

This school has a focus on students reading skills. This is to ensure the students are provided with life skills, a chance to improve their life and show that reading is fun and enjoyable. They encourage children to find their passion for reading and understand that there is meaning behind print. This school ensures that the teaching of reading is individualized and accessible for each student.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
