Protocol Education are currently recruiting for teaching assistants to work in some of our outstanding special needs schools located in Kingston to start ASAP. Our schools cater for a wide array of needs that include autism, speech & language, physical disabilities & severe learning difficutlies. As teaching assistant you will be required to help students to understand social cues, help students learn to process their emotions, develop speech & language, but more importantly provide an engaging and positive learning experience. Successful candidates will focus on numeracy, literacy, life skills and sensory development within classes that include cooking, gardening.

The role:
Support students on a 1:1 basis and within a class setting
Assist students academically and socially
Focus on numeracy and literacy development
Develop speech & language skills
Working within a supportive environment and team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
