Job description
A school that caters for children with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) are currently seeking Learning Support Assistants. Each child in the class have quite complex needs as well as other diagnosed difficulties, such as hearing impairment, visual impairment, speech and language.

The school is equipped with state of the art facilities and resources, such as a hydrotherapy pool, hoists and physiotherapists on site. The resources help support all children who would not otherwise have such an opportunity to strive, learn and grow.

The staff and children all work together to put a smile on one another's faces and the school believe the key to success is happiness.' The atmosphere is extremely fun as well as extremely hardworking. This role will require feeding, changing and personal care, therefore a background in nursing and/or tube feeding would be useful, however the school create a very encouraging and helpful environment and are willing to offer any training.
TA qualifications are not essential but are desirable. If you feel your personality could be an asset to the school and meets the criteria of the position, please do respond to this role.
You will need an enhanced DBS for child workforce.
