Job description
A 'GOOD' school in the West London borough of Hillingdon, close to West Drayton are looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant who is able to join their team from September 2019.

In this role you will be offering specialist one to one support for children on the Autistic Spectrum Disorder, ensuring they are able to thrive in mainstream education. The school has a high level of EAL, as well as SEND and therefore has an understanding of the importance of specialist support, and its practical implications for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and their welfare.

You will benefit from a supportive environment and a strong team of staff, starting with the senior leadership. There is an emphasis on high expectations for all students, ensuring that positive behaviour management is at the heart of ensuring that all children learn and develop.

This is a challenging but rewarding role where you will really make a difference in the lives of children, who need support and understanding. We are looking for people who are driven and engaged, with the skills and experience of working with children with SEND in a similar setting, ideally specialising in ASD.

If you are looking to utilise your skills and experience as part of a team where they will be valued then this is a wonderful opportunity to make the next step in your career.

If you are interested in this or any of the positions for SEND Support roles within mainstream primary schools, across the London borough of Hillingdon / Hounslow or Ealing for September, please do get in touch with me directly on 01895451960 or email across your CV to raj.achall@protocol-education.com
