A welcoming primary school in Jesmond is looking for a SEND Support Assistant to work closely with pupils who require additional support with learning, communication and emotional regulation.

You'll become part of a nurturing team committed to helping every child achieve their potential and enjoy a positive school experience.

Location: Jesmond
Pay: £92.63 - £102 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term

What you'll be doing

• Supporting pupils with SEND needs
• Working 1:1 and in small groups
• Encouraging communication and participation
• Supporting literacy and numeracy activities
• Helping pupils regulate emotions
• Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO
