Protocol Education are currently recruiting on behalf of an excellent and supportive school located in the heart of Newcastle. This excellent school is centrally located in Newcastle making it easily accessible to public transport. As a teaching assistant you will have the opportunity to work one to one with secondary students with special needs such as autism, speech & language difficulties and moderate learning difficulties. Due the needs of the students, class sizes are reduced and cater to classes of 8 - 10 students, providing you the opportunity to have a more aligned and focused approach to the students learning & development. As part of the role you will be supporting students with their academic & social development.

The ideal person:
Personal or Profesional experience with SEND
Passionate about making a difference to students learning and wellbeing
An ability to be proactive, creative and empathetic.
To adhere to the school's policies and practices.
Ability to work as part of a team
