Protocol Education are working with a fantastic Primary school in Wolverhampton, who are recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant/LSA to join them ASAP.

The role will involve working with pupils 1:1 with Special Needs and Challenging behaviours who require extra learning support. The SEN Teaching Assistant will have the opportunity to work closely with children who suffer mental health difficulties, display challenging behaviour or have learning difficulties, eg. Autism.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant to develop their experience with Special Educational Needs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with SEN children.

The ideal SEN TA for this Primary school will be confident and passionate about working with students who need extra Learning Support. They will have a can-do attitude and willingness to help in other areas of the classroom, and the ability to work well under pressure. Ideally, the successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have excellent behaviour management skills and desirably some form of restraint training.
