Due to unprecedented demand due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation, we are currently recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants for work in Mainstream Primary Schools across South Yorkshire

The positions will commence from January 2021, with opportunities to interview for full time positions to staff who are the right fit for the child they are working with.

Roles can span a number of classes and learning needs.

We are particularly looking for staff with experience working with

* EYFS, KS1 & KS2 Learners diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Condition. The learners may also be non-verbal or experience other communication barriers. Staff with training around BSL, Makaton and other communication methods would be most welcome.

*Learners with a variety of SEND requirements and learning barriers, including social, emotional and mental health needs. If you have experience working in Special Education or with SEND learners within mainstream education this would be a great entry point to Special Education

Due to the urgency of the positions, applicants with an enhanced child workforce DBS maintained on the update service will be prioritised.

We also ask that applicants can provide a valid proof of right to work in the UK, 2 professional references and proofs of address.

Applications from individuals who have undertaken previous positive behaviour training (MAPA, Team Teach, Price, NAPPI or any RRN Certificated Training) or training such as Manual Handling would be most welcome.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
