Behaviour Support Assistant - Sheffield

Protocol Education Sheffield are looking for Teaching Assistants who must be trained in Team Teach, with excellent behavioural management skills required for a long term position. The role will be based in a SEND School in Sheffield. The position is full time, term time only and can run from half a term up to the whole academic year.

The post will involve supporting a SEMH primary class with up to 11 pupils with behavioural difficulties (one to one or group basis) within the class. You will need to be a strong character, enthusiastic, motivated, good communication skills and up for a challenge.

Minimum of 6 months experience working with children, in a school/care setting is required.

Experience in working with children with special needs or within a PRU / SEND school would be an advantage as would previous training in Behavior Management programmes such as Team Teach.
