SEND Supply Teaching

Location: Maidenhead
Job Type: Contract
Industry: SEN Support Jobs
Reference: PE11267307
Salary: £60 - £75 per day
Job Published: 23 days ago
We are currently looking for outstanding teachers to work in a variety of daily, short and longer term supply contracts across Maidenhead/Windsor.

Supply Teaching will look different this year and we are working with schools to figure out what the new normal will be but you could be working in a small 1 form entry, next a larger academy but what they have in common is look at their supply staff as part of the team, often inviting preferred staff back for regular cover and PPA roles. Roles such as Quarantine cover and Bubble bookings are areas we are looking at.

Working as a Supply teacher can give you the ability to choose, and can be a fun and flexible way of working in a job you love. We can take into account your preferences to travel, key stages you feel comfortable with and the number of days you want to work. Ideally a minimum of 3 days a week is desired and the willingness to travel for work if you are looking for day to day flexible cover, but for longer term there is more flexibility to do enquire.

Whether you are looking to ease yourself back into teaching after a break, wanting to reduce your hours or just explore your options and gain experience in schools before you commit to your next Teaching position then Supply Teaching could be right for you.

You will benefit from:

• Freedom and Flexibility to choose when and where you work
• Large pool of local schools, as varied as the borough itself
• Variety of Day to Day, Short- and Long-term Supply contracts
• Schools will invite preferred staff back for regular cover and PPA roles
• Friendly and supportive consultant who genuinely cares about the Teachers.
• Pay through PAYE ensuring no hidden charges

In order to get the most out of supply teaching I advise to start as open minded as you can and be able to give ideally a minimum of 3 days a week and have the willingness to travel across the borough for work.
