SEND Specialist Teacher

About the Role

You’ll support pupils aged 3-19 with complex and profound learning difficulties, delivering a highly personalised curriculum tailored to individual needs. Working in small, supportive groups, you’ll create a safe, engaging environment where pupils can grow in confidence, independence, and life skills.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to each pupil’s unique needs and abilities
• Adapt teaching approaches for pupils with ADHD, Autism, PMLD, and complex needs
• Work collaboratively with a skilled, multidisciplinary team
• Build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers
• Celebrate progress and achievement—no matter how small

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working in SEND settings
• Strong differentiation skills for complex learning needs
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
• A genuine passion for supporting pupil development and independence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
