Job description
Protocol Education are working with a Special Needs School based in Bexley, who are seeking a qualified Teacher to work with pupils on a 1:1 basis as well as work in small groups of pupils. The pupils who need support range across the Primary Phase and this is part time position starting immediately. For this particular position you will need to be able to build a meaningful relationship with these pupils, you will need to be empathetic and understanding towards SEND needs and barriers to learning.

The role:

• 3 days a week, term time only, or would consider someone mornings/afternoon only
• Based in the Borough of Bexley
• Working 1:1 with a pupil who have down syndrome
• Working immediately until Summer 2019

You must have:

• Experience of working with PECs or Makaton
• At least 2 years of working with pupils with SEND needs
• Be experienced in EHCP's and tailoring them for each pupils needs
