Job description
An exciting long term position has arisen at a Northampton SEND School for a Drama Teacher. This role is initially for one year but the school maybe able to extend this to a permanent contract for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be a professional classroom practitioner, who will be able to create an engaging environment, which is conducive to learning in order to secure the progress of all students.

The successful candidate will be suitably qualified, have experience teaching at KS3, 4 & 5 and be expected to deliver engaging, varied and well planned lessons.

You will be required to work with a range of abilities and age groups, in varied classroom environments and sometimes with children with specific needs.

You will work closely with other school staff, and be able to take direction in terms of delivery.

You will need to build strong relationships with pupils and staff, whilst still maintaining professional boundaries and be proactive, friendly, outgoing and taking the initiative at all times.
