Job description
SEND Secondary Teacher Required

Full time SEND Secondary Teacher role available in the Surrey area.

A small, friendly and well-run PRU school in the Surrey area is looking for an experienced special needs teacher for one of their classes. The pupils in the class have behavioural disorder and are in KS4. The role is full time and is likely to extend into a long term/permanent role for the right person.

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:

• Strong behaviour management
• Psychology or Social work graduates are often successful at this post
• Resilience
• Relationship building
• Willingness to learn
• Good understanding of special education needs and students with social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
