Job description
Full time SEND teacher job available in the Windsor and Maidenhead area.

A small, friendly and well-run school in the Berkshire (Windsor and Maidenhead) area is looking for an experienced special needs teacher for one of their classes. The pupils in the class have autistic spectrum disorder and are between the ages of 11 and 13 years. The role is full time and is likely to extend into a long term/permanent role for the right person.

To be successful in your application you must have some experience teaching children with special needs and be a positive and hardworking person who can deal with some challenging behaviours. You will need to be confident enough to manage a small team of learning support assistants.

If you are interested in this role or any other special needs teaching and non-teaching roles across Berkshire please contact me asap with your CV.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
